Essays are rough. In fact many people struggle with them. You can improve your essays and your grades with them. The first step in this process is to figure out why you are doing poorly. What is the problem that is holding you back? Here is some of the common pit falls to get you thinking.

Many writer fail because their core argument or topic is poor. Do you find that this is a problem. Try writing on a hotly debated topic this will add strengthen to you core aims and enable you to stay focused.

Everyone likes to read a good debate. So if you choose a topic that will get the reader into the arguments you have successes.

The second error is to fail in supporting you main topic. Do not assume that everyone believes your idea. It is far better that you give too much evidence then to fail in giving sufficient evidence.
